As the UCI have announced the revised dates for the Tour of Flanders due to the COVID-19 situation, so
this is your chance to ride the Tour of Flanders 2020 route in the Flanders cyclo. (Ronde van Vlaanderen
cyclo) the day before the professionals ride it. 16,000 cycling enthusiasts rode the Tour of Flanders route
last year. (Ronde van Vlaanderen Cyclo) which includes the famous cobbled climbs.
In 2012, the Tour of Flanders changed it route finishing in Oudenaarde, instead of Meerbeke, and the race
passed over the climbs of Oude Kwaremont and the Patersberg three times, which makes for excellent
viewing of the race as it unfolds.
After an absence of five years, the Muur van Geraardsbergen will again feature in the Tour of Flanders,
with race organisers confirming the cobbled climb as one of several changes to the parcours to take effect
The iconic and photogenic climb, which has provided so many memorable moments in Flanders history,
will not return to its former place in the parcours but will instead feature with 100km remaining, with the
last 75km to remain unchanged from the 2016 route. The start city has been changed from Bruges to
Antwerp, which will play host to the race for the next five years, while Oudenaarde remains the finish

Please note we have a special bike trailer where you bike is carried fully assembled with the front wheel
out, therefore there is no need to have your bike disassembled and in a bike bag / bike case.
We take a mid-afternoon sailing from Dover to Calais and arrive in Kortrijk at approximately 20.00hrs
where we spend 3 nights on bed and breakfast at the excellent IBIS Kortrijk Centrum.
Kortrijk is an excellent location for our Flanders weekend, which gives easy access to and from
Oudenaarde for the Ronde van Vlaanderen Cyclo (Flanders Sportive) and Antwerp for the start
of the Professional race on Sunday.
Saturday 17th October: Ronde van Vlaanderen Sportive
There will be the option of taking part in either the 229km, 174km,
139km or 74km events
Tour of Flanders cyclo sportive event that you are able to enter with
ourselves follows the most interesting part of the race route
including all the famous cobbled climbs of Flanders.
The event organisers have numerous feeding stations and
mechanical service at the control points.
Ronde van Vlaanderen Cyclo Entry:
If you have booked your Ronde van Vlaanderen Cyclo Entry through us, your registration pack will be
handed to you when we arrive in Kortrijk . If you obtain your own entry, you will have to join the queue
with 1000s of others to collect your registration pack which will delay your start.
For those who are not bringing bikes, you can either spend the day at your leisure in Kortrijk, get
dropped off in Oudenaarde to spend the day at your leisure and visit the Tour of Flanders museum or
travel with the support crew to see the cyclo sportive.
Sunday 18th October 2020: The Tour of Flanders
Today is the Tour of Flanders Professional race.
After an early breakfast we shall take you to the city Antwerp for
the signing on & start of the Tour of Flanders. Using our expert
knowledge of the region we shall travel to the Oude Kwaremont
and park up.
No need to get the shuttle transfers as we will be parked up at
the location of the Oude Kwaremont where you can see the race
pass three times.
In Kwaremont village this will be the centre of the action as they
pass over the Oude Kwaremont 3 times, you will also be able to
see the women's edition of the Tour of Flanders, (Ronde van Vlaanderen voor Vrouwen).
You will find plenty of food & drink facilities available including a big screen in the square for you to
soak up the Flemish atmosphere.
As we will be parked up at the Oude Kwaremont, you will not have to waite for hours for the shuttle
