On this fantastic Flemish weekend on Friday you will see the E3 Harelbeke which has developed into a
highly prestigious and desirable event. It is now on the UCI World Tour calendar, and the first cobbled
classic of the season.
On this weekend you will have the opertunity to watch a UCI World Tour event and ride two Sportives, or
watch two UCI World Tour events and ride a Sportive.
In 2010, UCI made some calendar changes, positioning the Gent Wevelgem on the day after E3
Harelbeke, which caused a dispute between the two races.
In 2012, when the E3 Harelbeke was upgraded to World Tour status. One of the demands of the UCI was
that a rest day between two arduous World Tour events.
Therefore the organizers of E3 Harelbeke changed the date of their event to Friday to meet the demands

Please note we have a special bike trailer where you bike is carried fully assembled with the front wheel
out, therefore there is no need to have your bike disassembled and in a bike bag / bike case.
We take a mid-afternoon sailing from Dover to Calais and arrive in Kortrijk at approximately 20.00hrs
where we spend 4 nights on bed and breakfast at the excellent IBIS Kortrijk Centrum.
Kortrijk is an excellent location for both E3 Harelbeke & Gent Wevelgem, which gives easy access to and
from Harelbeke, and Wevelgem.
Friday 26th March 2021: E3 Harelbeke
62nd edition of the E3 Harelbeke.
After breakfast we shall take you to Harelbeke for the signing on &
start of the E3 Harelbeke. Using our expert knowledge of the region
we shall see the race in various points. The Oude Kwaremont is
where you will be able to see all the big names testing their legs
ready for the Tour of Flanders the following week,

Saturday 27th March 2021: Gent Wevelgem Sportive
Today you will have the opportunity to ride one of the 4 distances
of the Gent Wevelgem Sportive (60km, 91km, 136km or 215km)
The event organisers have numerous feeding stations and
mechanical service at the control points.
For those who are not bringing bikes, you can either spend the day
at your leisure in Kortrijk or travel with the support crew to see the

For those riding the Johan Muessuw Classic (E3 Harelbeke Sportive)
after an early breakfast, you can ride the short distance from the
hotel to the start of the Muessuw Classic (E3 Harelbeke Sportive).

78 km: 7:00 - 9:00
For those going to watch the Gent Wevelgem Professional.
After a leisurely breakfast, u Using our expert knowledge of the
region we shall travel to the Kemmelberg where we will see 4 races:
· Juniors pass over twice,
· Elite Ladies pass over twice,
· U23 pass over twice
· Elite Men pass over twice.
The Kemmelberg is the last and most difficult climb of the race.
In 2016 the race was won by Sagan, who escaped with Cancellara
and Sep Vanmarcke on the Kemmelberg.
