Liege Bastogne Liege (Belgium) - late April.
It is well and truly the oldest of cycling's classics professional race. This is your
chance to witness one of the oldest and truest cycling Spring Classics.
Nicknamed the "Doyenne" of the classics as it is the oldest race which still
currently takes place, Liege Bastogne Liege really is an exciting event.
Paris Roubaix (France) - the "Hell of the North" or in french l'Enfer du Nord
is traditionally one week after the Tour of Flanders. From its beginning in 1896
until 1967 it started in Paris and ended in Roubaix (hence the name); since
1968 the start city has been Compiègne (about 60 kilometres, 37 miles) north-
east from Paris whilst the finish is still in Roubaix. Famous for rough terrain
and cobblestones, it is one of the 'Monuments' or Classics of the European
calendar, and contributes points towards the UCI World Ranking.
Tour de France 2019
The 106th edition of the Tour de France will cover 3,460km over 21 stages, and will
feature 30 categorised climbs. The race will consist of
7 flat stages, 5 hilly stages, 1 individual time-trial, 1 team time-trial, and 7
mountain stages with 5 mountain-top finishes.
2 rest days before the riders finish as usual on the cobblestones of the Champs
Sportives The Spring Classics sportives where you can take the opportunity
to ride the course of one of classics. Gent Wevelgem, E3 Harelbeke sportive
(Johan Museeuw Classic), Tour of Flanders, Paris Roubaix, or
Liege Bastogne Liege.
Cycling Randonnees Randonnee events can either be "Permanent" or "Non
Permanent" rides. Permanent rides are normally over a number of days and you
can choose when you want to undertake them. Predominately, thsy are point to
point rides, traversing the mountain ranges of Europe.
The 2019 UCI Road World Championships are to be held in 2019 in Harrogate,
United Kingdom. It will be the 92nd UCI Road World Championships and the fourth
to be held in United Kingdom.
Paris Brest Paris
First run in 1891, the 1200-kilometer Paris-Brest-Paris, or "PBP" as it is commonly
called, is a grueling test of human endurance and cycling ability.
The event is organised every four years by the host Audax Club Parisien, the
Paris-Brest-Paris Randonneurs is the oldest bicycling event still run on a
regular basis on the open road. Beginning on the southern side of the French
capital, it travels west 600 kilometers to the port city of Brest on the Atlantic
Ocean and returns along the same route.
Gent 6 2019
The Gent Six has been the adopted track event for the British fans since the
closure of our very own Skol Six in the 80's.
It doesn't get any better than the Gent Six. The racing around it's 166.66 meters
track with the steep bankings, atmosphere, fans, music, and history - all of these

On this fantastic Flemish week, you will see 4 UCI World Tour events, starting with
the E3 Harelbeke, it is now the first cobbled classic of the season. The opportunity to
ride one of the 4 distances of the Gent Wevelgem Sportive the day before the pros,
Gent Wevelgem pro race, the Dwars Door Vlaanderen which has been upgraded in
2017 to a UCI World Tour status, opportunity to ride one the Flanders sportive the
day before the pros, Tour of Flanders pro race.
Tour of Flanders (Belgium) - This is your chance to ride the Tour of Flanders
2019 route in the Flanders cyclo. (Ronde van Vlaanderen cyclo) the day before the
professionals ride it. 16,000 cycling enthusiasts rode the Tour of Flanders route
last year. (Ronde van Vlaanderen Cyclo) which includes the famous cobbled climbs.
In 2012, the Tour of Flanders changed it route finishing in Oudenaarde, instead of
Meerbeke, and the race passed over the climbs of Oude Kwaremont three times,
which makes for excellent viewing of the race as it unfolds.
The 102nd edition of the Giro d’Italia will start from Bologna on 11 May and
finish in Verona on 2 June.
With 3,518.5 km over 21 stages with a massive 46,500 meters of total elevation,
this edition is one of the hardest courses in recent years.
